Overview

Nicolás Redondo Terreros (Baracaldo, 1958) fue secretario general del Partido Socialista de Euskadi-Euskadiko Ezkerra (PSE-EE) entre 1997 y 2001. Estudió Derecho en la Universidad de Deusto y comenzó su trayectoria política en las Juventudes Socialistas de España en 1975. Obtuvo un escaño en el Parlamento vasco por Vizcaya en 1984. Coincidiendo con su etapa al frente de los socialistas vascos fue nombrado secretario federal de Relaciones Institucionales en julio de 2000. Poco después de las elecciones vascas de 2001 dimitió de todos sus cargos en el partido por francas discrepancias con la nueva línea política del PSE-PSOE. Ese mismo año se convirtió en presidente de la Fundación para la Libertad. En los siguientes años ejerció su profesión como abogado y consejero de distintas empresas. Escribe habitualmente en los periódicos del Grupo Vocento y en El Mundo, entre otras cabeceras.
